Zac

The two-year-old retired greyhound that I instantly fell in love with, but am not allowed to adopt because he’s “too big”

Ugh. My heart.

But I know he’ll find a good home one day. He’s simply too beautiful and too sweet and too cuddly to spend much longer in the dog refuge. I was just really hoping I could be that home for him.

Alas, my search for a Whippet puppy continues.

Update

I got an awesome job at a Tavern, I got a super cute haircut, and I’ve fallen in love with a two-year-old retired Greyhound named Zac.

So this lady who breeds Whippets near here

She got back to me. Apparently the litter she’s expecting is only going to have four puppies, so she doesn’t have enough to go around. Disappointing.

BUT she offered to bring one back from Melbourne for me, if I can find a breeder that’ll have a puppy old enough, because she’s going there in July. HOW NICE IS THAT? What a lovely person. It’d probably actually work out cheaper that way, too. Puppies in WA are expensive.

But there is another breeder an hour or two from here who might have a puppy, so I’ll send them an email first and work out what to do once they get back to me.

My hunt for a Whippet puppy continues.

UPDATE: No puppies in Brookton. Looks like I’ll be flying one over from the Eastern States.

There are so many wasps outside right now

I’m legitimately afraid to leave my house.
